Beechwood Sickener- A5 original pencil and ink illustration

I picked this one for it's cool name and warm reds. The Beechwood Sickener (Russell Nobilis) works symbiotically with (unsurprisingly) the beech tree, hanging about in the roots of the tree. Each organism shares its resources with the other, creating a much diverse and colourful forest!

Completed in pencil and biro on 250gsm paper.
